Ideas on how to Beautify Your Community without Spending a lot of Bucks.
- Clean or replace signs throughout the community. Look at worn out or bent signs and fix them up.
- Clean, paint and straighten up all signposts. Also, check to see if any street lamps need a little cleaning up/painting. A little paint and straightening up can go a long way!
- Planting colorful annuals around the entrance(s) of your community can help liven your association while making it beautiful.
- To ‘hide’ major mechanical equipment, such as pumps and transformers, plant around them!
HOMEOWNER'S INSURANCE - WHAT IT IS AND WHY YOU MAY NEED IT.What is homeowner insurance? People may be unaware what exactly it is and/or if they need it. Homeowner insurance is just like any other insurance - it protects your investment and since your HOA doesn't cover the contents of your home, you need your own coverage. It is 'just in case' and recommended to people who have or are considering purchasing, leasing or have a mortgage.
Where do you get the insurance? Previous insurance companies can be a good source of information and generally give discounts if you purchase more than one product (i.e. car and home). Be sure to talk to several insurance companies before making a final decision. It is important to purchase the right kind of insurance at the right price for you.
